Cosmetic teeth bonding was performed here to restore teeth that were damaged from chronic grinding.
In the before photo, you can see the exposed inner layer of the tooth (dentin), which is yellow. These holes and chips can occur when grinding your teeth or frequently chewing on hard substances such as ice or any hard food.
If the damage is not addressed, it can lead to further wear and damage with time, including cavities, the need for a root canal, and sensitivity to cold, hot, and sweet foods.
